Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Dreamjobr ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of dreamjobr.com and related products (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Dreamjobr helps job seekers tailor CVs, generate application content, and discover matching roles using automated tools and third-party job listings. Features and limits depend on your plan and may change over time.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@dreamjobr.com of any unauthorised use.

3. Plans, billing, and cancellations

  • The Free plan includes limited monthly tailorings. Paid plans (e.g. Pro at £9.99/month) unlock higher limits and additional features described on the Pricing page.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
  • You can cancel any time from your Settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. UK/EU consumers may have statutory rights that override this.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before the next renewal.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, or content that is false, defamatory, or infringing.
  • Use the Service to send spam, harass others, or impersonate anyone.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service, its APIs, or its infrastructure.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, RLS, authentication, or billing controls.
  • Use the Service to generate content that is unlawful or violates a third party's rights.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the CVs, profile data, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit, display, and create derivative works of Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you (for example, generating a tailored CV or matching you with jobs). We will not use Your Content to train third-party foundation models.

6. AI-generated output

The Service uses automated systems, including large language models, to generate CV drafts and suggestions. Output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all output before submitting it to employers. Dreamjobr does not guarantee job interviews, offers, or outcomes.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties such as Stripe (payments), Adzuna (job listings), and email and AI providers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Dreamjobr and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others, or fail to pay fees when due. You may close your account any time from Settings. On termination, we may delete Your Content after a reasonable grace period, subject to our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce specific employment results.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dreamjobr will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of £100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dreamjobr from claims arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring claims in their country of residence where required by law.
